SOCIAL IMPACT PARTNERSHIPS

Building Independence. Strengthening Systems. Changing Outcomes.

Supporting care-experienced young people across the UK through practical guidance, cross-sector partnerships and societal education.

Adelphi works with organisations across sectors to bridge the gap between systems, independence and societal understanding - ensuring support doesn’t just exist, but continues to inform, guide and empower beyond the social sector.

From early independence through to adulthood, we support individuals while strengthening the environments around them - including workplaces, communities and wider society - to make adult life more navigable and fair.

Ideal for local authorities, charities, businesses and foundations.

THE REALITY

For many care-experienced people, independence begins earlier - and with fewer safety nets.

  • Managing housing, finances and employment responsibilities sooner than peers

  • Limited informal support networks

  • Fragmented or inconsistent guidance across systems

  • Confidence, identity and access barriers shaped by stigma and experience

And importantly, these challenges do not end at 18 and are separate to any experiences that may have led to being in the care system.

As individuals move into adulthood, gaps can continue to impact:

  • employment and progression

  • housing stability

  • financial wellbeing

  • mental and emotional wellbeing

  • confidence and long-term opportunity

This is not about potential.
It’s about education, awareness, access and consistency across society for those who have had to carry much more than most of their peers.

HOW ADELPHI WORKS

Adelphi combines a digital platform, partnerships, campaigns and cross-sector collaboration to improve outcomes for care-experienced young people.

The platform provides accessible, practical guidance that young people can return to whenever they need support - building confidence, capability and independence over time.

Alongside this, Adelphi works with local authorities, organisations and corporate partners to strengthen support, remove barriers and create real-world opportunities.

Through campaigns and awareness activity, Adelphi also helps improve understanding, challenge stigma and drive positive inclusion across workplaces and wider society.

Independence doesn’t develop through a single service.
It grows through connection, opportunity and consistent, practical support.

PARTNERSHIPS IN ACTION

Partnerships with Adelphi are designed to create measurable outcomes - not just activity.

This includes:

  • Removing barriers to independence through practical, real-world initiatives

  • Supporting access to opportunities such as employment, mobility and everyday living

  • Providing clear, accessible guidance for young people navigating their first homes and responsibilities

  • Strengthening confidence, capability and long-term progression

  • Improving understanding and inclusion across organisations and workplaces

Partner support also plays a key role in ensuring the Adelphi platform and guidance can remain accessible to young people across the UK, helping provide consistent support regardless of individual or systemic circumstances.

This is how partnerships with Adelphi:

  • support removing barriers to independence and wellbeing

  • build skills and confidence to strengthen pathways into adulthood

  • support employee and workplace inclusion

  • and contribute to wider societal change

Because impact isn’t just what exists - it’s who can access it, and what it enables over time.
