Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 26 January 2026

Adelphi – Adulting, Together® is committed to making our digital spaces, services, and content as accessible and inclusive as possible. We want everyone who engages with Adelphi, regardless of background, ability, device, or support needs, to feel able to access information with confidence and dignity.

Accessibility is not an add-on for us. It is a core part of how Adelphi is designed, delivered, and continually improved.

Our Commitment

We aim to ensure that our website, digital platform, and online content are accessible to as many people as possible. This includes people who:

  • Use assistive technologies such as screen readers

  • Navigate using a keyboard rather than a mouse

  • Experience cognitive, sensory, or neurodivergent differences

  • Access content on mobile, tablet, or older devices

  • May feel overwhelmed by complex layouts or dense information

Wherever possible, we work towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What We’re Doing

We take practical, ongoing steps to improve accessibility, including:

  • Designing content to be clear, structured, and easy to read

  • Using appropriate colour contrast and readable font sizes

  • Adding alternative text to images where appropriate

  • Structuring pages to support screen readers and keyboard navigation

  • Avoiding unnecessary complexity in layouts and language

  • Regularly reviewing content and user journeys on Squarespace

Accessibility is reviewed as part of content updates and platform development, not treated as a one-off task.

Accessibility tools on this site

This site includes built-in accessibility tools to support different ways of reading and using the content.

These tools allow you to:

  • listen to page content using text-to-speech

  • adjust text size and contrast

  • navigate using a keyboard

You can access these tools at any time using the accessibility icon on the page.

Platform and Future Development

As Adelphi continues to grow, accessibility will remain a priority across:

  • The Adelphi website

  • The Adelphi digital platform

  • Any future app or digital tools

We recognise that accessibility is an evolving area and commit to learning, listening, and improving over time.

Feedback and Support

We welcome feedback from users, partners, and organisations.

If you experience any barriers accessing information, content, or services, or if you require information in an alternative format, please contact us:

Email: hello@adelphi-app.co.uk

We will do our best to respond promptly and work with you to resolve any issues.

Limitations

While we aim to make all areas of Adelphi as accessible as possible, there may be some limitations due to third-party platforms or legacy content. Where this occurs, we will seek reasonable alternatives and improvements.

Ongoing Review

This Accessibility Statement will be reviewed regularly to reflect platform updates, user feedback, and evolving best practice.

The most up-to-date version will always be available on our website.

In summary

Adelphi – Adulting, Together® is committed to creating digital and professional spaces that are inclusive, accessible, and respectful. Accessibility is a continuous journey, and we are committed to improving with the people we serve.
