Adelphi - Adulting, Together® is committed to making its website, resources, services and opportunities as accessible and inclusive as reasonably possible. Accessibility includes digital and physical access, understandable information, flexible communication and reducing unnecessary barriers.

Our approach

We recognise that people access information in different ways. This includes people who use assistive technology; have visual, hearing or mobility impairments; are neurodivergent; have learning or cognitive differences; use a mobile device or older technology; or prefer clear and straightforward language.

Digital accessibility

We aim to work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably practicable. This is an ongoing aim rather than a claim that every page or third-party feature is fully compliant.

Our practical approach includes using clear headings and page structures, readable text and colour contrast, meaningful alternative text, straightforward language, keyboard-friendly navigation where the platform allows, and captions, transcripts or alternatives where reasonably practicable.

Accessibility tools and adjustments

The website includes accessibility-related tools supplied through Tabnav. Browser, device and operating-system accessibility settings may provide additional support. If a tool does not meet a person's needs, we will consider a reasonable alternative format or adjustment where practicable.

Third-party content

Some forms, videos, downloads, partner platforms and services are controlled by third parties. We encourage accessible practice and will raise material barriers where appropriate, but cannot control every external platform. Where reasonably possible, we will help identify an alternative route.

Known limitations and improvement

Older documents, externally produced material, embedded services and some platform-generated elements may not meet every accessibility standard. We prioritise issues that prevent access to important information or support and review accessibility as our services develop.
